PakStartups is a community built around one idea; that is Pakistani founders deserve a space of their own. What started as a subreddit grew into something bigger, a platform across Reddit and LinkedIn where entrepreneurs could share ideas, find the right people, and build something together.Â
By the time they came for a brand identity, they had already grown to 9,000 people. But the brand hadn't kept up.
The challenge was one of trust. For a community to work, people need to feel like they belong in it. The existing identity wasn't creating that feeling. It wasn't reflecting the ambition of the founders or the spirit of the people in it, and without that, growth had a ceiling.
The goal was to build an identity that felt like a home for Pakistani founders. Something that communicated unity and momentum, while staying rooted in where it came from. The color direction leaned into greens that quietly nod to the Pakistani flag, not as a literal statement, but as a sense of belonging woven into the design itself.
The result spoke for itself. Within two months of the new identity launching, the community grew from 9,000 to 15,000 members. Not because of a campaign or a push, but because the brand finally felt consistent, clear, and worth being part of.
